ABOUT DIANE FEINBERG, M.Ed., LPC
Diane earned her Master’s Degree from Boston University.
She has completed years of post-graduate study including Chemical
Dependency Counseling, Gestalt, Core Energetics, Attachment Therapy
and Family Therapy.
Diane has been a Psychotherapist for over 28 years and has worked
in residential and outpatient treatment centers. She was in private
practice in Connecticut for twelve years before accepting a position
as Clinical Director of an Attachment Center.
For over eight years, her main focus has been treating attachment-disrupted
children and their families.
Currently, Diane maintains a private practice in Western North
Carolina and conducts seminars on Attachment throughout the United
States.
Diane travels to the homes of families with children who suffer
from Attachment Disorder, working with them for seven to ten days
at a time, usually coordinating with a local Therapist for follow-up
therapy.
“I am deeply honored to be doing this work. When I first
come into a family’s home, I sense their vulnerability
and desire for healing and help. These families have courage
and dedication. After all, it takes courage and dedication to
be willing to share their lives with a Therapist for a week.
But, when a week long intensive is over, families are closer,
more hopeful and happier. We have shared moments of struggle,
tenderness, joy and laughter, and I leave with a profound respect
for all the family members.”
